This was written for the Twin Cities Horn Club "Call-for-Scores" Contest back in 2017. This piece has 12 horn parts which are divided into three 4-piece choirs. This piece paints a scene of a boat journeying out into dangerous waters, as well as the excitement of venturing out on the high seas. The piece concludes with this same boat docking amidst a warm sunset in an exotic land.
